Di-Lutzen Battle Report:

This was a practice game played by Joe and myself a few weeks ago in preparation for our upcoming Lutzen battle.  As I didn't have enough Russian and Prussian forces painted up, we reduced the French OB to roughly match what I had to play.  As it turned out, it was a blast to play with the only downside being that we didn't get to finish.  As this was our first game with the NB2 rule set, we spent a lot of time double checking rules.  But the goal of the game was to get a feel for how the full Lutzen scenario would play out and that was certainly accomplished.  We have scheduled the game for August 21st so check back soon after that for a full battle report.  Below are a few of the pictures I took that day.  This is more of a photo gallery rather than a full battle report, but I will write a few words on some of the more interesting pictures.
Note: On the day of the game, I discovered I didn't have as many painted troops as I thought and had to proxy (Gasp!!) a few British Cavalry units as well as a British Green Jacket unit for Prussian Cavalry and Jagers.

As stated above, we were not able to finish the game but as it was only a practice session for the full scenario that was ok.  Regardless, both Joe and I had a blast and in the end that's all that matters!
