Alec Peters

Alec Peters has been playing Warhammer 40,000 since 1998 when he stumbled onto it at Dragon Con, the big Atlanta Gaming/Comic/Sci Fi/Fantasy convention. He met Dave Smith, who then owned Mageworks, the local Alpharetta, GA gaming store and, as Alec usually does, tried to figure a way to make a business out of the game. It started with Alec executing Dave's idea of having a cart in the local mall at Christmas to drive business to his store. Through that Christmas season, Alec got Curtis Callaway (this site's owner), Joe Underwood and Paul Barford involved in the game.

Alec is the founder and CEO of Marketworks, an eBay partner, from which he hopes to retire soon so he can start another business with his two good gaming buddies, Casey and Curtis. Alec plays Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Sisters of Battle and Grey Knights in 40K, and has both a Dark Angels BFG fleet and an Imperial one.
