For my Space Marine army, I did not want to copy my 40K army (Black Templars) as I did with the IG. The primary reason being I did not want to paint two black/grey armies for Epic (my Epic IG army having grey vehicles). I painted up a few test stands (Dark Angles, Blood Angles, ect) but once I saw the dark blue guys with that crimson dot on their shoulder pads, I knew I had found the one.
