We picked up a copy of the Victory at Sea at Historicon 2007.
We have played a few games and like it quite a bit. You can get more
information on Victory at Sea from the
Mongoose Website. I will
post more pictures when the rest of my fleet arrives.

The heart of my Fleet...the Carriers
The air aspect is one of the main reasons I got into Victory at Sea and with OOB and a few house rules, it works perfect for us. |

My Fledgling Imperial Japanese Fleet.
I did a quick paint job on these to see what they would look like on the table. I need to go back and fix few things like the carrier deck other historical details. |

|
|
I haven’t decided if I will put name tags on them or not. At the very least I will number the destroyers and subs since I will have more of those than anything else.

The Planes are from CaPareo. Although 1/1250 scale, I think they fit in nicely with the fleet. Our convention is to have 1 Heavy Bomber, 2 Torpedo or Dive Bombers and 3 Fighters per stand. (Now I just have 50 more to paint...) |
