The IX Hadesian Deaths Head Regiment was raised on Hades Primus, a planet
covered with huge Hive Cities. Since the pollution levels on Hades are
dangerously high, most personnel that are required to operate outside of the
protection of the Hive Cities must don some kind of re-breather protection
device. The Hadesian Regiments are all equipped with IG Standard
re-breathers. Each trooper is encouraged to paint the Regiment's battle
emblem, the Deaths Head on their re-breathers to help inspire fear in the enemy
and to show devotion to the Regiment.
